GAME 7

Firstoff I'd like to say good job to the boys who have managed to come back and tie up the series at 3. It is a tribute to the character and leadership in the room.I wish I could be there for game 7 and the completion of the comeback but will be watching again on Buzzlive. If we could go into Port Hope and take a game 7 there then there is no reason why it shouldn't be done tonight at the SMC. As Chris DePerio once said "burn the ships".

Good Luck fellas, it is your night.

Blog This!

I know this is what you've all been waiting for...and here it finally is. I have to say though before I begin, how embarrassed I am that Macker has blogged three times before my first one, but to me that just means he hasn't been having too much luck with the ladies in the "North Country"...but don’t worry buddy, keep your head up...not all of us look like Matt Damon.

For the longest time I didn't know what to write for this blog and when I asked how to get rid of this writers block I was told, "Just chirp Fred’s bod and the rest will come" But I just couldn’t do it though, because those pipe cleaners have scored some pretty big goals over the years and I’m the last person that should be chirping bods, especially considering going into training camp this year I prolly weighed just under 300lbs.

Been out to watch the boys a couple times so far this year, and I like what I’m seeing. Apparently Forge CAN score, and all those big goals in the playoffs weren’t a fluke, and Fred still can only celey with one arm but seems to do it a lot. I see Rory Smith is still inflating his PIM’s by “Inciting” all the little 90’s in the league, Duff’s a killer, Husky is a “half killer” and Lou is still naked.

Just got back from Thunder Bay and the Fort William Gardens where we played Lakehead. Felt good to actually be playing in that rink instead of sitting up in the stands and for Lakehead they actually pack the barn, just under 3000 so that was pretty sweet. I made sure I left the lucky loonie in the ice this time though.

Anyways Waterloo is great, were ranked #6 in Canada right now and #1 in Ontario, trying to bring home another championship. Keep up the good work Buzz, first place is something to shoot for but it’s the trophy at the end that’s important. Finish strong, keep your foot on the gas, all those clichés and ill be out to as many games as I can and ill blog as much as I can…and remember…

Stay out of the casinos, stay away from the booze, and only spit on dusters in extreme cases…

I’m out fellas,

Dils

P.S. Where the hell is Lozz?

Ring Night!!!

Hope everyone is getting pumped up for another ring night. We play Vermont and Irwiiii tomorrow so I won't be attending tonight and am extremely rattled about it but thats just the way it goes. Have a fun night and enjoy the ceremonies but remember there is still a game that needs to be won.For the younger and new guys take this as an opportunity to see what the Buzzers are all about and keep it in your mind when playoffs roll around. You are not just playing for your teammates and yourself but for anyone who has ever worn the M. As Chris Depiero used to say "leave your own legacy". I will be watching on webcast hopefully and really wish I could be there. I miss all you guys and hope to catch a game sometime after new years. Have a good one tonight boys.

Buzz Issued Blog

Just a quick update from the north country. After waiting a while to finally play some games I have gotten 3 college games under my belt. Unfortunately the team is 1-2 with losses to Niagra and Providence and a win vs RIT. My first college game was pretty exciting and I ended up getting the GWG against RIT in a 4-3 victory so that was pretty cool even though I had no clue it even went in and had no time to celey. The next night we played Niagra and I managed to pick up 2 assists in a losing effort but it was a great game and came right down to the wire. The next weekend we made the long trip to Rhode Island to play Providence. The bus trip ended up being close to 9 hours each way which was a little different than the usual roadies I was used to like the long treks to North York or Vaughan haha. The team and myself both didn't have very solid games in Providence and we lost 4-2 with an empty netter. We have this weekend off and I will most likely be out on Friday to see the Buzz play Ajax (better not lose to them again). Next weekend we make the trip to Michigan to play Mich State and Wayne State. I am lookign forward to the Mich State game especially and will be playing former Buzzer Vuky and also past Buzzer enemies such as Nick Sucharski and Jay Sprague. Hope all is well in Buzzer land and I will see everyone on Friday at the game.

Update from SLU

Hey everyone, I am quite honoured to be posting my first ever grad blog. My blogs may not be as entertaining as the Mr. Mark Lozzi's but Mark is a unique individual (he's messed up).

So far things are going well here at St. Lawrence. We have been on the ice for a couple weeks now and are starting to gear up for our opening game against RIT on October 6th. On Saturday I encountered the worst bagskate of my career which was shortly followed up by a 7 am practice on sunday morning. Other than that the hockey is going great and I'm sure it will get even better once the games begin.

I've been watching the Buzz very closely this year and am glad to see they have gotten out to an undefeated start.Don't get complacent though boys keep going hard. I've also been hearing rumours that Fredo Cassiani has been in the gym non stop and is looking to re-capture his title of the best bod in the OP.

Finally I'd like to end on a sad note and make sure we always remember Tony Sgro and the Sgro family. Tony was a great man and will be remembered forever by the Buzzer family. I talked to Tyler and he told me how much he appreciated the support him and his family recieved from the Buzzers.

Thats all for now. Keep up the good work fellas....3 peat!!!!!!!!

Scott Rymmers 1st blog

Hope everything at SMCS is going well, congratulations on the NYR sweep. Now you guys just have to take it Pickering for me next Friday.

Things up here at Lake State are great, however the news of Mr. Sgro passing away has definitely been a tough pill to swallow.

Therefore, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Tyler Sgro and the entire Sgro family. Mr. Sgro was one of the bravest and strongest individuals I will ever know. In my opinion, he won his battle with cancer, as he inspired so many to live life to its fullest, as he did everyday. I can't imagine how many hearts Mr. Sgro has touched over the years, however I do know that Tony Sgro will always be remembered by the entire Scrymgeour family as a courageous and kind man. And I feel privileged to of known him.

Tyler, you know all the boys are here for you anytime…

Talk to you later,

Scrym

A word from the Office of the President

Hey guys - what about those Buzzers. Coach Dips, Reets, Mario and Joe continue to amaze. The boys have been playing great hockey and are looking forward to taking on the winner of the next series. Hopefully a few of you will come "home" to St. Mikes to catch a game or two in the next round.

Cogs was in town last week to catch and the game and dropped the puck for one of the games. He is famous now!!!

Not sure if any of you have been following the goings on of our program via the net. This spring we are launching the Junior Buzzers - an 8 week spring program. He have 12 tournament teams ranging in ages from 1999 birth years (yes 6 and 7 year olds) right up to 1990. The response to this program has far exceeded our wildest expectations. The conclusion to our first season will be a banquet for all 200 players registered in the program and their parents. It is being held on June 21st at the Capital Banquet Center in Mississauga. (Not the same dinner as the graduation dinner - that is June 7th this year).

Part of the festivities that night will be a head table made up of ex-Buzzers that are currently playing hockey at the next level. I am hoping that many of you will come back and join us in this celebration. It will be a great night and I would love to have as many of you as I can participate. If you can join us that night - email me at mmccarron@shipmsm.com or call me at 1-800-667-4175. Come out and meet the future Buzzers and see some of the boys that you went to war with during your time here.

I hope you can help.

Thanks - GO BUZZZERS GO

Mike McCarron
